With workshops and activities for the whole family, it promises to be a highlight of the fall season. Additionally, Lula Lake Land Trust is hosting a Founders Weekend photo contest. Tag Lula Lake Land Trust on your Facebook photos or use #LulaLakeLT on Instagram. The winner will receive a professionally framed print of their phot.
Admission to Founders Weekend is free, with donations gratefully accepted at the gate, or click here to give online.

Saturday, October 3
9 a.m.: Entrance gate opens at 5000 Lula Lake Road, Lookout Mountain, Ga.
9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Hiking, biking, picnics, fresh air and a scavenger hunt
10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Living history exhibit featuring “Civil War soldier” Jim Ogden
10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Animal Ambassadors booth hosted by Reflection Riding and Nature Center
10 a.m.: Yoga with Allison Foster ($10 suggested donation; bring your own mat)
10:30 a.m.: Easy to moderate guided hike and nature walk with Bob Butters
2 p.m.: Yoga with Aron Aldrich ($10 suggested donation; bring your own mat)
4 p.m.: Entrance gate closes
5 p.m.: Exit gate closes
Sunday, October 4
Noon: Entrance gate opens - 5000 Lula Lake Road, Lookout Mountain, GA
Noon-5 p.m.: Hiking, biking, picnics, fresh air, scavenger hunt, all day long!
1 p.m.: American Chestnut workshop and tree planting with Dr. Hill Craddock
2 p.m.: Easy to moderate nature walk and plant identification with Terri Ballinger
2 p.m.: Yoga with Jonathan Ellis ($10 suggested donation; bring your own mat)
4 p.m.: Entrance gate closes
5 p.m.: Exit gate closes
