Santa Clause is coming once again to Lookout Mountain on Tuesday, December 3, to be a part of the 8th Annual Christmas Parade and the Lighting of the city of Lookout Mountain, Ga. The Christmas Parade will start at 5:30 p.m. at Fairyland School and proceed down Rock City Trail, turning left onto Elfin and zig zagging the streets of Fairyland (Cinderella, Peter Pan, Aladdin) before heading back up Hardy Road to City Hall.) Santa and his sleigh will be picking up unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items for “Stockings Full of Love Foundation.”
Join Santa at City Hall for hot chocolate, snacks and Christmas music during the annual lighting of the town.
The Christmas Parade will last from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., and downtown lighting festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and will wrap up around 7.p.m.
The whole community is invited, and it will be fun for the whole family. A special thank you to Love Lookout for sponsoring the Christmas lights this year.
If you miss the parade but would still like to contribute to Stockings Full of Love, you may drop off your gift from now until December 6 at Lookout Mountain, Ga., City Hall.
