Courtney Guthrie is so excited about her new business, 4 Bridges Audiology, which is located in St. Elmo at 3918 Tennessee Avenue, next to Bea’s Alterations. Courtney, who graduated from Ole Miss in communication disorders and earned her doctorate at the University of Memphis, is a certified audiologist. She and her husband, John, and their two daughters, Ella Parker, 9, and Anna Kate, 7, have made Lookout Mountain their home for the past nine years. They moved here from Greenville, Tenn., and when the realtor showed them a certain house on Cinderella Road, they knew that it was home.
After working for the last several years for another private audiology practice, Courtney decided it was time to her own audiology business. Courtney not only treats your hearing issues, but she also makes “house calls” and will clean ears, bring batteries, pick up hearing aids for repair and return them, as well as other services. This personal touch sets her apart from other audiologists in our area.
She chose the name of her new company, 4 Bridges Audiology, because she wanted the name to have a tie to Chattanooga, and she loves the blue bridges downtown. The bridges are one of her favorite things about Chattanooga, and the name signifies bridging the gap between hearing loss and living your best life.
Courtney laughs that it has been crazy trying to open up the new business, raise a family, and still keep her sanity! 4 Bridges Audiology will initially be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but she hopes to expand with her growing clientele. Good luck to you, Courtney!
